China Architecture Design Group, which is famous as the Architecture Design Institute of the Ministry of Construction, is now the main branch of China Construction Technology Consulting Group. Dating from its original body, the institute established in 1952 and has a history of 60 years. Among the 1,000 staffs, there are more than 85% are professional designers. Its main business scope covers: architecture design, landscape design, interior design, human settlement design, architectural history, building intelligence design, building economy and the relative researches.
In the 6000 projects spread over more than 100 cities, there are national key projects, such as the National Stadium of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, the Capital Museum, the Lhasa Railway Station, Rebuilding of the new seat of Beichuan Count, and several landmark of Beijing, such as the Focus Place, the Sinosteel Tower in Zhongguancun, the Headquarter Office Building of Sinopec and the National Tennis Gymnasium. From 1986 to now, CADG has won more than 300 prizes, includeing international, national and ministerial level ones.
